October 2025: Emilia is coming back to the lab as a student assistant along with completing her Master of Molecular Medecine at the University of Freiburg.
September 2025: The lab was awarded an ERC-Starting grant for the project "TEASEr" (Transposable Elements as Architects Shaping Embryonic development)! 🥂🧬

This cover art was designed by Dr. Anna Monaco (MPI for Molecular Genetics, Berlin). It represents a limb with digits desintegrating into viral particles, illustrating our findings that viral-like particles cause a limb developmental malformation.
June 2025: Emilia joins the lab! She will be working as a summer student for two months.
